Evening Prayer for Refugees and Their Children
Thursday, June 21 at 6pm, St. James

In a recent letter from our bishop we were informed about the Episcopal Public Policy Network's vigil from 9am-9pm this Thursday, June 21st, on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The prayer vigil is taking place on the longest day of the year, in recognition of the fact that any day children are separated from their parents is too long.

At St. James we will support this effort by holding a service of Evening Prayer in the Jonathan Daniels room Thursday night at 6pm. (We will not be in the main church because the newly refinished floor is still drying.) Come pray together for justice, peace and for the families who have been divided at our borders. Please enter by the rear door and come up the stairs.
