Join Elsa and Derek on a mini Good Friday pilgrimage to Portsmouth.  We'll attend a Good Friday service at historic St. John's Episcopal Church at noon, and then participate in a Stations of the Cross walk from 1:30-3 along the Black Heritage Trail of NH.  Members of the Black Heritage Trail board will provide stories about our African American forbears in NH at each station, and then we'll have a prayer before moving on to the next station.  We'll start in the Puddledock area of Portsmouth and finish at the African American burial ground monument. Strawberry Bank has given permission for us to park there.  Whether or not you've been following the Lenten stories put out by the Episcopal Church of NH and the Black Heritage Trail this Lent, this will be a wonderful way to conclude out your Lenten journey this year.

Please bring a bag lunch for yourself.  Clergy are invited to wear black clerical shirt/collar and stole on the trail.  Contact Elsa about carpooling plans
