The Rev. Caroline Hines, our interim rector and deacon Geof Smith preside over St. James services. Caroline comes to us from Toledo, Ohio where she was the interim rector there. Geoff was called to be St. James' deacon by Bishop Rob Hirschfeld as part of his expansion of the diaconate in New Hampshire.
A 26-year-old seminarian with ties to St. James, Daniels was on leave from the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, MA working for the right to vote when he was shot and killed in Hayneville, AL. Each year on a Sunday in August we have a service honoring him and invite a special guest preacher.
St. James Social Justice Ministry is part of the cornerstone of St. James' mission, advocating for justice, fairness, and economic opportunity for all people, and for the responsible stewardship of our planet.
