A 26-year-old seminarian with ties to St. James, Daniels was on leave from the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Massachusetts working for the right to vote when he was shot and killed in Hayenville, AL. Each year on a Sunday in August we have a service honoring him and invite a special guest preacher.
