The St. James Memorial Garden

It is traditional to bless animals on the feast day of St. Francis, and it happens to fall on a Sunday this year. So you are invited to bring your animal companion to receive a special blessing at 3pm on the feast day of St. Francis - October 4th. Our gathering will be in the memorial garden of St. James, which is on the St. James Street side of the church (across from the Keene Sentinel.) Please make sure your dogs or large animals are leashed or harnessed and any animals who are not on leads are safely protected in their carriers. All animals and creatures are welcome. Children are also welcome to bring their favorite stuffed animals if they have no live animals in their family. No need to belong to this or any church to take part. Hope to see you there!
